Making New Robes

Given the wear and tear of the semester, I have decided that I should make myself some new robes. I have started with the lining as practice before moving on to the outer layer.
Um, please ignore the pajama pants.
It still seems a little long, but I can take up the extra length when I sew the outing robe and lining together.
